The Dorking 10

Leagues and Events

Both Juniors and Seniors take part in track events in the summer and cross country in the winter as well as road races all year round.

– We have a thriving Junior section who compete in a number of Leagues such as the Lily B legue for girls, the Ebbisham league for boys and the Young Athletes League for both. A number of junior only sessions are laid on by the club including our popular sportshall sessions at Ashcombe School in Dorking. For more information please visit our juniors page.

Cross Country
- Our male and female teams both compete in Surrey XC League (usually Division 1) Juniors also compete at these events over a shorter distance. We are also part of the MABAC League, a fun cross country league open to all ages and abilities comprising of one race a month. The East Surrey League is another option. The league consists of 4 excellent races; two cross country and two road.

Track and Field
– Our senior track and field teams compete in Division 2 South of the Southern Mens/Womens League. The men are part of a joint team with Holland AC Sports.

Road – Many members take part in the surrey road league events in the summer. Our very own Nick Hodges is a past winner of this league.

Triathlon – Visit the triathlon pages for more information and to join the triathlon mailing list.

Regionals and Nationals – Our talented junior, senior and veteren athletes regularly do us proud at regional and national cross country and track and field championships.

DMVAC organised events – DMVAC organises the Dorking 10 mile in June.
In addition we host a MABAC league event at Holmwood Common and the Surrey Cross Country Championships at Denbies.

Hopefully there is something there for you, if not choose your own from the ever expanding list of running and triathlon events. For dates of any of the events listed above please visit the fixtures page.

In each U13 and U15 event there are up to 2 scorers per team, but we can enter any number of non-scorers as well which is an ideal opportunity for people to try a new event or to secure a PB in a favoured event even if they aren’t one of the two nominated scorers.
