The Dorking Ten Mile Road Race and Cockerel 10K
For 2018 DMVAC is delighted to present The Dorking Tens – two road races for your enjoyment, both taking place on Sunday 3rd June 2018. The 33rd Dorking 10 Mile Road Race will start at 09:00a.m. and is a round of the Surrey County 10 Mile Championship. It is held under UKA rules. This year we are also proud to introduce the Cockerel 10K, which will start at 09:40a.m. and uses many of the same scenic Surrey lanes as the Dorking 10 Mile event. The Dorking Tens will be a true family friendly event, with races for both committed athletes and recreational runners alike, refreshments, entertainment and retail stalls at our Dorking Rugby Club event hub. As always with DMVAC events, we welcome and actively encourage wheelchair and disabled runners to participate.
Competitor feedback about this race
“Thanks again for a wonderful race. Your event is possibly the best organized, friendliest, loveliest while at the same time toughest and most competitive race in the summer calendar. Congratulations to all, especially the lovely commentator who does so much to make it the best.” B.Neely.
