Rob Russell’s Performance Sessions
Rob Russell’s Junior sessions for all ages start at 7pm down Pixham Lane, Dorking on MONDAY and THURSDAY.
The group coached by Rob is for those athletes that wish to train and compete at a serious level. The group consists of athletes from 11 years old and up, with experience and ability from keen club athlete to County and National standard. Training sessions are divided into several groups with individualised training adapted to each athlete’s specific needs and goals.
We encourage entry into suitable competitions and specifically target certain events, such as the National Cross Country Championships, National Inter Counties Championships, English Schools Track and Field Championships and University Championships.
Middle Distance and Cross Country Sessions
Alan Archer and Lesley Taylor take the junior group sessions which are for athletes from 11 years of age upwards who want to improve their ability and aim to compete for Dorking & Mole Valley in the various competitions – both x-country & track & field throughout the year. The group has several very good county athletes who started with the group as inexperienced athletes and have now competed in the UK National and Inter Counties x-country championships and the English Schools X-country cup final, plus track & field county championships and league matches.
